Title: The Virtual Holocaust Memorial Tour

The Political Science Association of Wilson College and the Junior College English and Political Science Departments, in collaboration with the General Consulate of Israel in Mumbai and the International School for Holocaust Studies of Yad Vashem Jerusalem, had organized a virtual seminar for all educators on a Virtual Holocaust Memorial Tour on the 28th of April 2022. This webinar was organized on the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah), or the International Day in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, which is an international Memorial Day on 27 April 2022 that commemorates the victims of the Holocaust. The Virtual Tour of the Holocaust History Museum of Yad Vashem was given by Dr. David Deutsch, Head of Asia, Africa and New Zealand Section, Overseas Education and Training Department. This tour provided an insight into the history of the holocaust, along with a strong focus on the individual stories and experiences of the Jewish victims. The Museum begins with Jewish life before the war, and it ends by addressing the issue of Holocaust representation and the preservation of memory.
