The session began at 12:10 pm sharp, first Dr. Reshma Rodrigues introduced the 11 candidates who would be standing for elections. The 11 candidates were as follows the first being Ms. Riya D’silva followed by Ms. Sharon D’souza , Ms Harshita Sharma , Ms. Binaisha Fernandes, Ms. Natasha Fernandes, Ms. Prinal Gonsalves , Ms. Denisa Chettiar , Ms. Snehamol Sajan , Ms. Amrita Nakhwa, Ms. Diona Ghonsalves and Ms. Siddhi Rajguru.

Each candidate was asked to come up and address themselves in front of the audience. The candidates gave a short introduction on themselves, they also mentioned some of their achievements and gave us a glimpse of their future plans if they’re elected as Council Members.

After the last candidate Ms. Siddhi Rajguru had finished addressing herself, Ms. Brushel Pereira announced the only the FY.B. Ed students will be voting to select the General Secretary and the Council. The Elections took place through secret ballot. The entire session ended at 1:30 pm post which we went on a break , the results were to be announced post the break.

At 2:00 pm everyone reassembled in the hall as Sr. Principle was to reveal the results of the elections. The newly elected General Secretary was Ms. Natasha Fernandes and the Student Council for the year 2021 – 2023 included Ms. Siddhi Rajguru, Ms. Snehamol Sajan , Ms. Amrita Nakhwa and Ms. Diona Gonsalves.
