Dr. Reshma Avinash Rodrigues is a post-graduate of University of Mumbai. She was awarded the doctoral degree in Education by the University of Mumbai in 2019 for her study on the ‘Academic Buoyancy of Secondary School Students in relation to their Academic Resilience and Students Engagement’.
She has worked on Minor Research Project funded by University of Mumbai in 2015-2016. She has attended various college, state, national and international seminars and also has presented papers at various national and international seminars. She is a recognized Post Graduate teacher of the University of Mumbai and delivers lectures for M.A. in Education students of IDOL, University of Mumbai at St. Teresa’s Institute of Education (PCP Centre).
She was a member of syllabus construction committee for T. Y. B. A. (Sem V – VI) Education- IV Educational Evaluation in 2018, T.Y B.A Education Syllabus Revision 2017 for Educational Management and Two Years Choice Based B.Ed. Syllabus Revised Framework in 2017. She was the convener of B.Ed. Syllabus Revised Framework in 2017 for the subject Assessment for Learning. She was also a member of syllabus revision committees for Pedagogy of School subject -History, Pedagogy of School Subject – Social Sciences, Contemporary Education and Society, Understanding Disciplines and subjects – Social Science.
She has also attended various syllabus orientation meetings for Creating an Inclusive School, Drama and Art in Education, and OSM. She also has worked as a paper setter for T.Y.B.A. (Educational Evaluation and Computers in Education) and B. Ed. (History and Creating An Inclusive Schools). She is In-charge and a member of various college level committees.
She has experience of more than a decade as an Extension Teacher of Department of Life Long Learning and Extension. She has also judged various competitions. Her areas of interest are research and creative ways of teaching.
